• maintains an accounting, budgeting and reporting system reflecting the financial position of the diocese, cemetery and the diocesan newspaper, The Messenger.
• prepares the annual reports to account for resources available and the use of funds for various programs.
• maintains the property files on diocesan owned properties, reviews all contracts for purchase, sale, construction, remodeling or demolition.
• manages the Deposit & Loan Fund and Secondary School Fund.
• manages the Consolidated Endowment Investment Pool.
• responsible for disbursement of the Diocesan Annual Appeal.
• assists parishes and high schools with financial data.
• reviews financial reports received from parishes and institutions.
• assists with the administration of the Lay Employees' Pension Plan.
• serves as staff to various committees of the Diocesan Finance Council.
• collaborates wth the Catholic Conference of Kentucky and Kentucky Council of Churches on issues related to finance,
• provides assistance with charitable gaming.
• assists the newly formed festival committee.
